The Tyson Family Foundation recently awarded the following students: Melanie Louise Kettler of Norfolk, Nebraska, a scholarship to major in Physical Therapy at University of South Dakota; Stephanie Jean Kettler, a scholarship to major in Physical Education at Mount Marty College in South Dakota; Ryan Allen Sporleder, a scholarship to major in Construction at Northeast Community College in Norfolk; and Eric Arreguin, a scholarship to major in Pre-Med at Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska.

The scholarship is worth $1,500 for the fall 2004 semester, and is renewable for seven additional semesters, as long as the student continues to meet eligibility criteria.
The Tyson Family Foundation scholarship provides educational assistance to students who are Tyson Foods Team Members, contract growers, or their dependents.

The Foundation awards nearly $750,000 in scholarship funds each year to deserving students in Tyson Foods communities throughout the country.
